About this beta

You're using an early version of everly — and the first product we're testing with you: your Zorgmap. This page explains what that means and what to expect.

Enter everly or read on first — takes a few minutes.
Please open everly on a computer or laptop, in a regular browser. The app is built for desktop only — mobile and tablet views aren't ready yet. You can read this page from any device, but to actually use everly, you'll need a bigger screen.

What is everly, and what is a Zorgmap

everly is a digital companion for the hardest moments around end of life — built for the Netherlands, in English first.

What you're about to use is called your Zorgmap: one private folder with your wishes, documents and words — ready for the people you love.

It's the first piece of everly. More support around grief, paperwork and memory will come later — for now, the Zorgmap is what we're testing with you.

What you'll find inside

Your Zorgmap is organized around the things you might want to leave in order. Depending on what you told us in onboarding, you'll see different sections in your sidebar — grouped into Practical and Personal.

Practical
  • Money & Accounts accounts, subscriptions, insurance
  • Legal Papers testament, wilsverklaring, donor registration
  • Home & Daily Life home, keys, pets, the day-to-day
  • Work & Business handover at your job
  • Guide for Your Family practical handover for the people you leave behind
  • Telling People how to break difficult news
Personal
  • My Farewell Wishes ceremony, music, atmosphere
  • Letters to Loved Ones what you want to say, in your own words
  • My Story who you were

Each section has a few fields you can fill in. You don't have to fill everything — skip what doesn't apply, come back later, or leave it for now.

At the end, you can download your Zorgmap as a single PDF — everything you've filled in, gathered in one document for the people who'll need it.

What works and what doesn't (yet)

We want to be honest about this.

Works
  • Filling in fields and sections
  • Saving your answers between visits
  • Downloading the Zorgmap PDF
  • Reading articles in the Library
Not yet
  • Compass — your AI companion, off for now
  • Mobile — desktop only for now
  • Some Dutch facts — still being verified

How long this takes

Honestly, it depends on you. Some people skim through in twenty minutes; others sit with a single section for an hour. Both are fine.

There's no required time and you don't have to finish in one go. The questionnaire at the start takes a few minutes; after that, the rest is yours.

Everything is saved between sessions — close the tab, come back tomorrow, pick up where you left off.

Please don't use real personal data

This is a test version. Your data is stored on our beta server, which is secured but not yet certified for real medical or legal documents.

Please use fictional names, fictional situations, and made-up details. Pretend you're someone else, or use a scenario you've imagined. Treat it like roleplay.

How to share feedback (please read)

We're building this with you, not for you. To make your input actually useful — and to keep our heads above water — here's how we'd love you to share it.

After you've spent some time with it

One short message when you're done — even if "done" means "I tried for twenty minutes and stopped." Three questions help us most:

  1. Where did you get stuck or confused?
  2. What did you skip, and why?
  3. Would you keep using this — why, or why not?

Send your feedback (opens a pre-filled email).

If something is actually broken

If the app crashes, a page won't load, or you can't save what you typed — that's a bug, send it right away.

Report a bug (subject starts with [BUG] so we see it fast).

Please don't worry about

Typos, awkward phrasing, minor design details, or facts that might be slightly off. We're tracking those separately and will catch them in the next polish round. Your time is better spent telling us how the experience felt.

If you'd rather chat than write — Sasha is offering a 15-minute call to anyone who wants one. Just say so in your feedback email.

What happens to your data after the beta

Two options when the beta ends:

  • Keep your account your data carries over to the next version
  • Delete everything write to us and we erase your profile

Either way, we don't share beta data with anyone outside the everly team, we don't sell it, and we don't use it to train AI.

Something is broken, or you have a question

Write to alexandra@everly.one.

Sasha (Co-Founder) reads every message herself during the beta.

One more thing.

Thank you for being here this early. The version you're looking at is imperfect on purpose — we'd rather show it to you rough and learn fast than polish it in private and miss what actually matters. Whatever you notice, please tell us.

— The everly team
